I have just discovered pictures of the Stonehill Garden at Woodend .... I LOVE it! I would love to see it.... especially late Summer - Autumn!
I am wondering if it is open to the public at all?
It has never been open to ‘the public’ as such. But there’s been lots of groups through. Shame you didn’t post a few days earlier, as about this time we had the Woodend Garden Group through. You could have signed up, in order to see it! But watch this space. The owners may yet decide to open

I have only just discovered your website and blog and am absolutely loving it! I actually live on Kangaroo Island in South Australia! But I have a daughter living about an hour west of Geelong who we visit regularly…. she has married into a family of garden lovers too 🙂 May be one day we can take a trip up that way if the garden opens up. I’ve noted several other gardens open in your area, so it is on my wish list of places to visit!

I would love to go too! I am about 50 mins north of Woodend.
