Hi. Can anyone recommend good hedging plants - I'll need at least 3 meters high. The house is Federation era so I was looking for something traditional (i.e. not bamboo). I've been advised viburnum or murraya, but wondered if there were other options. I'm on the coast in Sydney. Thanks, Natalie
I don’t think that either Viburnum or Murraya will get that tall, Natalie. I’d be going for one of the Lilly pillys, ie Acmena or Waterhousia. Ficus hillii is also really good at doing this in Sydney, but are you sure you want to do this? hedges of that height are hell to look after, and expensive to get someone else to do it for you
