Does anyone know if proteas will regrow leaves on branches that have been stripped bare by goats? The branches are still alive - just completely bare. I’m not sure if I should leave them alone, prune them back or just trim off last years dead flower heads. I’ve trimmed off some flower heads but there soooo many I’ve not found time to do the rest. We just moved into this house this year and the previous owners didn’t do any pruning of them so they’re massive shrubs.
